Our client based in Middleton is an expanding company with an excellent reputation of manufacturing high-quality technical mould tools. They have enjoyed a steady growth in clientele and have established a strong order book with a promising future. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker.
The Job
- Toolmaker will assemble and fit injection mould tools
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Grinding, bedding, polishing, fitting parts, troubleshooting and debugging
- Working closely with design and production teams to ensure high-quality standards and project timelines are met.
About you
- Skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models
- Competence in assembling, fitting, and repairing injection mould tools
- Injection Moulding experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with tool trialing and validation processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High standards of quality and precision in workmanship
- Apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in toolmaking or mechanical engineering
- Experience with ISO 9001:2008 quality systems is a plus
