Our client based in Middleton is an expanding company with an excellent reputation of manufacturing high-quality technical mould tools. They have enjoyed a steady growth in clientele and have established a strong order book with a promising future. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker.

The Job

  • Toolmaker will assemble and fit injection mould tools
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Grinding, bedding, polishing, fitting parts, troubleshooting and debugging
  • Working closely with design and production teams to ensure high-quality standards and project timelines are met.

About you

  • Skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models
  • Competence in assembling, fitting, and repairing injection mould tools
  • Injection Moulding experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with tool trialing and validation processes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High standards of quality and precision in workmanship
  • Apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in toolmaking or mechanical engineering
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2008 quality systems is a plus
