Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for aPlumbing Engineerto join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

As thePlumbing Engineer,you willprovide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

ThePlumbing Engineer,will be responsible for:

  • Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems including boilers, pumps, valves, pipework, and related plant equipment.
  • Install, repair, and service mechanical and plumbing components according to technical specifications and drawings.
  • Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and reference materials.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable operation of systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and installations.
  • Assist in planning and executing scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively with clients to ensure high service standards.
  • Support commissioning and testing of mechanical and plumbing systems on-site.
  • Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota, responding to emergency tasks as required.

To be successful for this Plumbing Engineerrole you must have:

  • Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing maintenance, particularly in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and testing tools used in the trade.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration and client interaction.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
