Trainee Vehicle Fitter
12.21 per hour + Training + Progression + Overtime + Company Bonus + Healthcare

Are you a recent college leaver or a recently qualified vehicle maintenance student, looking for your chance to launch your career with a well-established leader in commercial vehicle fitout and panel building?
On offer is the opportunity to join a family business that has been around over 55 years and is looking to expand their business in vehicle bodybuilding for a range of blue-chip clients. This will include working on anything from a Luton to a Trailer with each conversion working towards the needs of each client.
In this role, you will be part of a small team working on up to 4 vehicles at a time using hand and power tools to build or convert vehicles, fit tail lights, install cameras based on specific client requirements. You will be trained on the job alongside senior members with regular reviews to support your work and progression. You will be working 40 hours a week 7am until 3:30am with the opportunity for overtime.
This position is ideal for a recent college leaver or a recently qualified vehicle maintenance student looking to start their career in commercial vehicle body building with opportunities to train and progress alongside senior vehicle fitters.
THE ROLE
- Commercial Vehicle Body Building and Conversions
- Following Health and Safety Regulations
- Monday to Friday 7am until 3:30pm
- Opportunity to increase pay with Overtime
- Company Bonus
THE PERSON
- Recently Qualified in Vehicle Maintenance
- Ability to use hand/power tools
- Commutable to Newton Heath, Manchester
