Food Technology Teacher – September Start

Location: South Manchester

GSL Education Manchester is currently recruiting a dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a modern, well-equipped secondary school in Manchester. This is a full-time position beginning in September 2025, teaching Key Stage 3 and 4.

 

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

 

Deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology across KS3 and KS4

 

Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom/kitchen environment

 

Support pupils in developing practical skills and theoretical understanding

 

Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Food Technology or DT

 

A proactive, safety-conscious approach to managing practical lessons

 

Strong subject knowledge, including knowledge of nutrition and hygiene standards

 

A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young learners
