Our client, a respected leader in industrial automation training solutions, is looking for an Industrial Automation Trainer to join their forward-thinking team in Manchester.

As an Industrial Automation Trainer, you’ll play a key part in delivering engaging, high-quality training on cutting-edge automation products and systems. Your sessions, whether delivered in person or online will give engineers and technicians the confidence and know-how to excel in a fast-moving industry.  You’ll also work closely with customers to understand their specific needs, shaping training solutions that help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver a range of training courses on industrial automation products and solutions
  • Present standard courses and negotiate, design, and deliver customised training programmes
  • Proactively identify customer training needs and formulate effective solutions
  • Provide sales support visits and conduct skills gap analysis for customers
  • Travel throughout the UK to deliver on-site training to customers
  • Contributing ideas and expertise to help grow the training business

Who They’re Looking For:

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
  • Sound experience with industrial automation systems in manufacturing industries
  • Practical experience in programming, commissioning or servicing automation systems
  • Knowledge of PLCs, industrial networking, HMI, SCADA, Process Control, Robotics, CNC, and Drives
  • Previous formal training experience, especially in an industrial setting, is ideal
  • Highly self-motivated with strong initiative, responsibility, and commercial awareness
  • Passion for developing business opportunities and delivering quality training solutions
