Your new company
Your new company is a global Engineering Business within the Ministry of Defence Manufacturing Sector. They are a world-renowned leader in their manufacturing processes and a key partner to numerous blue-chip organisations. They are known for their commitment to quality and innovation within engineering and have numerous sites and offices across the globe. Due to an increase in their order books, they are looking to build up the team of welders as they continue to win work and expand their operations.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will be required to work as a MIG/MAG Welder in a state-of-the-art facility as part of a dedicated team to manufacture equipment for the defence industry. This is an opportunity to join a world-class organisation, delivering a secured long-term contract to the MOD. Operators will be required to fabricate components adhering to engineering drawings and work instructions. Training will be provided to gain welding qualifications to EN ISO (phone number removed).

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, it is essential you have:

  • A Time Served apprenticeship and/or the equivalent qualifications
  • Competency in 'MIG/MAG' processes
  • The ability to work with heavy metals and/or aluminium
  • To be able to work as part of a team
