About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Estimator to join our commercial team, supporting the delivery of bespoke project solutions. In this key role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive quotations, liaising closely with clients and internal departments to ensure projects are estimated to meet customer specifications and company targets.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous estimating experience who is ready to contribute to the continued growth and success of a dynamic, fast-paced business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate quotations for bespoke projects in line with business margin structures.
  • Confidently assist customers with project enquiries and technical questions.
  • Review and interpret tender documentation, making necessary amendments or clarifications.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and highlight inconsistencies or missing information in project specifications.
  • Attend internal project handovers to pass ‘won’ orders to the contracts team.
  • Attend client meetings when required, supporting the sales team with technical input.
  • Work closely with sales colleagues to ensure alignment on client requirements and project goals.

  • Self-motivated and highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Previous experience in an estimating role
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Technically minded and confident interpreting construction/tender documents
