A leading manufacturer and supplier of high-performance connectors, cable assemblies, and related accessories, serving multiple sectors.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced EDM Machinist to join our precision engineering team. You will be working with intricate, low-batch components across a range of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operating EDM machines including Wire, Die Sinker, and Hole Drilling.
* Working to tight tolerances on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and plastic.
* Managing a maximum of two machines at a time.
* Handling batch sizes ranging from one-off prototypes to small runs of up to 30 pieces.
* Performing quality inspections using verniers, calipers, micrometers, and shadowgraphs.
* Reading and working from technical drawings with metric measurements.

The Ideal Candidate
* EDM machine experience preferred. However, training will be provided for candidates with a background in Milling machine setup or Toolmaking.
* Skilled in using precision measuring tools.
* Experience with low-batch precision engineering is desirable, but candidates from a high-volume production background will also be considered.
