- Week 4: 16:00 - 04:00 + 1 hour on Saturday and Sunday
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a driven and forward-thinking Electrical Section Lead/Manager to join the team at our Mansfield site. This is a senior position with responsibility for leading and developing the electrical section, overseeing utilities, and ensuring the smooth running of all electrical systems on site.
This role would suit a hands-on engineer who has the technical expertise to lead by example, but also the ambition to step into a management position and influence the wider business. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring equipment and utilities operate at peak performance, while driving continuous improvement and creating a culture of safety, reliability, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical section, setting clear objectives and supporting team development
- Deliver effective maintenance and improvement programmes across all electrical systems and utilities
- Ensure compliance with SHE standards, creating a safe and efficient working environment
- Oversee preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performance
- Fault-find and programme on Mitsubishi & Siemens PLCs
- Support utilities management including boilers, gas, air handling, heating and ventilation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance performance and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- HNC or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics
- Utilities knowledge (boilers, gas, air handling, heating & ventilation)
- Experience with Mitsubishi & Siemens systems - programming and fault finding
- Strong understanding of multi-voltage AC/DC, inverters, panels, instrumentation and PCB boards
- Familiarity with CAD and electrical drawings
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous
- A proactive, ambitious individual looking to progress their career in a leadership capacity
