Our client is a highly respected financial services organisation (Mortgage & Savings) and owing to a restructure, are recruiting for a part qualified Accountant who will be an Interim Finance Analyst whilst they recruit on a Permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity if you are immediately available for a 6m period, and able to travel to their Head Office in the East Midlands on Mondays and Tuesdays - Wed-Fri you will be working from home. There will be a handover period and opportunity to apply for the permanent role later in the contract. The role provides support for the finance department in the preparation of monthly reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting. In addition, you will assist with Treasury Management: regulatory reporting, hedge accounting and Asset Liability Management using the ALMIS system. It will be necessary to have worked within financial services or banking for this role, in order to have an understanding of the regulatory reporting and liquidity requirements as well as FCA regulations around AML and conduct.

To be successful you will need:• Essential: Recent use of the ALMIS system or similar regulatory reporting system • Experience in a similar position within a mortgage lender • Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience • Awareness of relevant legislation• Good team player with enthusiasm
