?A newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing, privately held organisation based in Yorkshire. Working in either hybrid or remote dependant on location this is a high-impact role offering full ownership of group tax compliance and reporting, with visibility across senior stakeholders and the wider finance function.

This is a commercially focused position suited to a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end corporate tax compliance process
  • Manage relationships with HMRC, external advisors, and auditors
  • Oversee tax accounting, quarterly instalments, and statutory payments
  • Advise on group financing, capital structure, and corporate interest restrictions
  • Monitor developments in R&D tax credits, investment allowances, and decarbonisation incentives
  • Support tax due diligence and advisory work on M&A transactions
  • Ensure accuracy in PAYE, VAT, and SAO compliance
  • Deliver tax briefings to senior leadership and the audit committee

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience/qualifications:

  • CTA or AATII qualified with 3+ years PQE
  • Strong experience in UK corporate tax within a multi-entity group
  • Technically strong with excellent written communication skills
  • Commercially minded, organised, and confident working across teams
  • ERP and advanced Excel proficiency essential
