Are you a strategic, marketing professional, who really enjoys campaign management, communications and brand management? In this brand new to the business role, our client is seeking a visionary Head of Marketing & Communications to lead a bold new chapter in their story. This is more than a leadership role - it’s your chance to build a brand, shape a strategy, and inspire change.

Leading a team of 2, the role will be focussed on managing and growing their brand, building and implementing a communications strategy and data led campaign management.

Additional duties of the Head of Marketing and Communications will include:

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and third-party suppliers (where applicable) to optimise opportunities to promote the organisation through effective marketing and communication.
  • Develop and manage a cohesive Brand and Marketing Strategy aligned to the organisation’s Corporate Plan and Strategic Objectives, built around the purpose, vision and core values
  • Monitor internal and external communications, ensuring that responses are coordinated in conjunction with other Managers across the business.
  • Work closely with the Head of People to build an effective Community Marketing Strategy to optimise brand exposure and good will.
  • Develop an engaging (internal and external) communication strategy to boost engagement and deliver key messages through a variety of on and offline channels, on a frequent basis, with feedback loops, tracking and KPIs as required.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous marketing and communications experience
  • Experience of insight/data led campaign management
  • Experience of creating and delivering a marketing/communications strategy
  • Brand management experience
  • Previous management experience

Our client offers hybrid approach to the working week, with 3 days based at their head office in Nottinghamshire and the remaining 2 remotely. Two of the office days must be a Monday and a Tuesday, the third can be of your choice.
