Position – Domestic Plumbing and Heating Engineer
Location: Nottingham & surrounding areas (Newark, Chesterfield, Barnsley, Mansfield)
Salary/Package - £37,000 - £39,000 (DOE) Van/Fuel Card, Mobile/Tablet, PPE/Tools, D2D Travel, & more
Purpose of the role
As a Plumbing and Heating Engineer you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic plumbing and heating systems, and worked within VOIDS. We are looking for an experienced Domestic Plumbing and Heating Engineer who has an extensive background in installing domestic heating systems that include boliers, pipework and radiators.
This position will be working for an established building services company that deal sites throughout the East Midlands.
They are dealing with a lot of commercial and domestic properties which are being refurbished to a high standard
The right person for this position will come from a strong domestic plumbing and heating background. They need to be holding current domestic gas tickets and able to fit all types of pipe work
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial boilers (gas, LPG, and oil)
- Diagnose and resolve faults in heating and plumbing systems
- Carry out routine servicing of boilers, cylinders, and heating appliances
- Install radiators, pipework, bathrooms, and sanitary ware
- Conduct power flushing and heating efficiency upgrades
- Install and service air source heat pumps and renewable systems
- Provide landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12)
- Maintain accurate job records and complete relevant compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
You must have or hold
- NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Certificate
- Full UK Licence
- Gas Safe Registered
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
