The Role

My client is a leading manufacturer in their field, looking for a experienced Paint Sprayer whom will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to various materials using a spray gun.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
Select and mix paint colours to match specifications
Apply paint to surfaces using a spray gun
Ensure that paint is applied evenly and without drips or runs
Monitor drying times and adjust as necessary
Clean and maintain spray guns and other equipment
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard

The Candidate

Proven experience as a Spray Painter or similar role
Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
Ability to mix and match paint colours to achieve desired results
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
High school diploma or equivalent
