Maintenance Engineer – £52,500 – Nottingham (NG20)
4 on 4 off – Days & Nights, 12 Hour Shifts – 5% Pension + Gym (£5/month), Showers, Lockers, and 20% Staff Discount

About the client
ATA are supporting one of the UK’s largest automated logistics centres, part of a global business with 25,000+ employees and operations in 25 countries. This site is a 3 million square foot distribution centre – the largest in the UK – with over £250 million invested into the facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a highly skilled team in a new and innovative site.

What you’ll be doing
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a variety of high-tech equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Electrical: Fault finding across three-phase systems, panels, sensors, contactors, relays, E-stops, and using a multimeter.
  • Mechanical: Strip and rebuild components such as belts, gearboxes, bearings, pulleys, chains, and pneumatic systems, with minor hydraulics.
  • Supporting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) using CMMS, including general checks, lubrication, voltage testing, and rebuilds.
  • Assisting Continuous Improvement (CI) projects as required.

What the client is looking for
To succeed as a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll need:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Confident electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Flexible attitude with the ability to work in a supportive and structured engineering team.
  • Engineering experience open to candidates from across industries.
