Elevation Recruitment Group areworking with a leading PLC businesswho are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their facility near Mansfield.
Salary: £52,500
Shifts: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotation of days/nights)
Reporting to the Engineering Shift Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will provide site-based engineering support to minimise downtime and ensure uptime, and availability of the installed automated equipment on site.
Duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include:
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of all onsite automated equipment
- Carry out planned repairs and reactive repairs of automated material handling equipment
- Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults
- Respond to automation faults and breakdowns promptly ensuring minimal downtime
- Prioritise system faults and optimise uptime and availability of onsite automated equipment
- Complete all reports in line with requirements using CMMS and Microsoft software packages
- Participate in the delivery, installation, commissioning and testing of upgrades and enhancements
- Ensure optimum levels of onsite spare parts are maintained
- Support site meetings as required
- Mentor, train and advise junior members of the team
We would like to speak with Maintenance Engineers with the following:
- Mechanical or Electrical Qualification
- Apprentice trained
- Experience working with automated material handling systems
- Ability to work at height
- Capable of understanding Mechanical, Electrical and/or Electronic technical manuals and drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective time and workload management skills
