Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who has used FEA extensively looking to progress into a senior role with the opportunity to build your own team in the future?
Are you looking for an exciting autonomous design engineering role, with a growing business that has been established over 100 years?
On offer is an opportunity with an highly successful independent business who are delivering leading freight solutions nationwide. You will manage your own projects, from conception through to manufacture, with a high degree of responsibility. You will have a strong background in FEA and calculations, to deliver efficient solutions.
You will be a key member of the Design & Engineering team, delivering designs to specification and standards, with a drive for continual improvement.
The Role:
- Responsible for ensuring designs meet customers' requirements and mandatory compliance
- Produce design calculations and proof and fatigue FE analysis for approvals and design verification
- Build and manage 3D models, the production of parts lists and manufacturing engineering drawings in line with company quality requirements
- Produce designs of products that can be manufactured efficiently, economically and create value
The Person:
- Mechanical design engineering background
- Strong Background in calculations and FE analysis
