We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Science Teacher to join our dedicated secondary school in Mansfield. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop a genuine curiosity for science and a strong foundation in scientific understanding.
This role is ideal for an ambitious teacher — whether experienced or newly qualified — who is passionate about inspiring young people and contributing to a culture of high expectations and success.
Key Responsibilities-
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Teach across KS3 and KS4, specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science.

Assess, monitor, and record students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.

Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

Maintain excellent standards of behaviour, discipline, and engagement.

Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum design, and enrichment activities.

Participate in the wider life of the school, including meetings, CPD, and pastoral responsibilities.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).
