About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science.

  • Assess, monitor, and record students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.

  • Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Maintain excellent standards of behaviour, discipline, and engagement.

  • Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum design, and enrichment activities.

  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including meetings, CPD, and pastoral responsibilities.

About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for your specialism.

  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities.
