We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contents Handler to join a busy team. The role involves packing, loading, transporting and unloading household contents and personal belongings. You'll be responsible for ensuring customers' possessions are handled safely and respectfully, maintaining high standards of care and professionalism at all times.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Carefully pack, wrap and transport household items to and from properties and storage.
  • Use appropriate moving equipment and follow all manual handling and safety procedures.
  • Record and track items accurately, noting and reporting any damage or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with team members and customers to ensure a smooth and professional service.
  • Maintain clean vehicles, tools, and work areas, and comply with Health & Safety and company policies.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in removals, logistics or restoration preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work in varied weather conditions.
  • Full UK driving licence (minimum 2 years).
