Job Role:

As a Live-in Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive, round-the-clock care and support to a client in their own home in the March area. Working on an alternative week schedule (specifically one week living in the client's home, followed by one week off), your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with all aspects of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
  • Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Providing meaningful companionship, emotional support, and engaging in social interaction.
  • Mobility Assistance: Supporting clients with safe transfers and mobility around their home.
  • Light Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, tidy, and comfortable living environment, including light cleaning and laundry related to the client's immediate needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed daily records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the client's condition.
  • Liaison: Communicating effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and the Verity Healthcare team.

Due to the personal care needs of the client, we require a female worker for this position.
