Job Description:
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a strong, collaborative team in Marchwood, Southampton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing management accounts, conducting variance analysis, performing margin analysis and costing. This role requires proficiency in Excel and a keen eye for detail!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and report findings.
- Perform margin analysis to assess profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement costing models to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Utilize Excel skills to analyze data sets and streamline reporting processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in an SME environment
- Proven experience in management accounting
- Analytical skills, with experience in variance and/or margin analysis
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager and ready to learn.
