Our client's location is a beautifully designed 9-bedroom guesthouse hotel, offering a unique and welcoming stay in the heart of Margate. With a focus on exceptional hospitality and stylish interiors, our client is preparing to launch a brand-new restaurant. They are now looking for an experienced General Manager to lead both hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring continued success and an outstanding guest experience.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position, perfect for a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives in a hospitality setting. You will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s daily operations, drive financial performance, and play a key role in launching and managing the new restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of both the hotel and restaurant
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional guest service
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control
- Drive the successful launch and management of the new restaurant
- Maintain high hospitality standards across food & beverage and guest experience
- Handle bookings, reservations, and front-of-house operations
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost bookings
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or F&B Manager
- Strong background in both hotel and restaurant operations
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management
- Hands-on approach with problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
