We are recruiting on behalf of several inclusive and welcoming primary and secondary schools in Thanet for SEN Teaching Assistants to start immediately. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work with pupils who need additional support and to be part of a team that truly values your contribution.

Role Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Location: Thanet, Kent

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (part-time roles may be available)

  • Contract: Ongoing supply, with potential for long-term placements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH

  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies

  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Support with behaviour management and emotional regulation as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (in school or similar settings)

  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

  • The ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
