We are actively recruiting for an exciting job opportunity with a successful accountancy firm based within a short commute of Peterborough and Spalding and available at Semi-Senior Accountant level. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.

Utilising a combination of the latest cloud-based technology along with a traditional approach to clients, you will have the opportunity to have a positive impact on clients' businesses.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clients
  • Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
  • Supporting with tax compliance where required
  • Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
  • Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and deadlines are maintained
  • Assisting colleagues within the wider accounts team as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Competent knowledge of accounts and cloud software
  • Must be able to live and work in the UK
