Join Our Team as a Central MEX Utilities and Compliance Support Manager!

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for compliance and utilities management?

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Central MEX Utilities and Compliance Support Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring the implementation of mandatory compliance engineering standards and supporting the operational management of LV electrical systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Infrastructure Maintenance Support: Provide technical and safety support for maintenance and inspections of site LV electrical infrastructure and process control panels.
  • Engineering Compliance: Uphold governance policies for electrical equipment management, support compliance requirements of DSEAR/ATEX, and audit safety boundaries for control panels and automation systems.
  • Training and Development: Lead competency training schemes, mentor others, and develop relationships with strategic partners and suppliers.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Implement standards for facilities management, support fire prevention strategies, and manage service contracts to improve reliability and performance.
  • Utilities Performance: Evaluate new technologies, support energy benchmarking, and assist with commissioning new processes and equipment.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Qualifications: Ideally apprentice served with over 5 years of experience in multi-skilled or electrical engineering. HNC/HND in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Utilities Biased).
  • Experience: Proven track record in utility maintenance engineering or FM related functions in the food industry. Experience in machinery safety and operational control.
  • Professional Certifications: NEBOSH National Certificate, IOSH certification, and formal leadership training.

Personal Qualities:

  • Effective communicator with strong technical knowledge.
  • Ability to analyse problems strategically and propose solutions.
