A Painter/Decoratorin HMP in Shropshire
The standard hours of work are39 hours per week.Staff are required to work on a rota basis betweenMonday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00; Friday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

What you will do:
- Planned and reactive paint work in all areas of the prison.
- Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, materials and additional company property.
- Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directive.
- Comfortable working alongside prisoners.
- Good awareness and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessments.
- Sharing best practice with others.
- NVQ level 3 in Painting and Decorating, however we will consider applications if you have NVQ level 2.
- Previous relevant work-related experience.
