FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a growing business who have ambitious growth plans! They are a modern & forward thinking business who are looking for a finance professional who has a varied background who brings a bit of personality alongside professional experience!
The business use Xero and experience of this would be advantageous but not essential & they work Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with 1 hours lunch break. The business turnover approx £9m and this role would be working directly alongside the Financial Controller. Ideally, candidates will be coming from a similar sized business / finance team setup but it’s not essential!
Duties Will Include
- Overseeing the purchase ledger function
- Check the Accounts emails are clean and allocated correctly
- Run invoices from portals and add to accounts email
- Processing expenses & petty cash receipts / payments
- Bank Reconciliation - Review and post non Purchase Ledger payments
- Posting payroll onto Xero
- Preparing inter-company rent invoices and other adhoc charges
