Fire Door & Fire Stopping Project Manager – £50,000–£60,000 DOE + up to 20% annual bonus – Market Harborough HQ (LE16 7PS)

The Role

Do you have the skills to lead multiple fire compliance projects with confidence? Are you experienced in fire door and fire stopping works and ready to take ownership of your sites from start to finish?

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee fire door and fire stopping works across commercial sites. You’ll be based on our Market Harborough HQ and cover projects within a 100-mile radius.

This is a key delivery role where you’ll manage live jobs, site teams, and subcontractors, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and in line with industry standards. You’ll also support general refurbishment and fit-out projects when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Fire Compliance Projects

  • Deliver BM TRADA-compliant fire door installations and fire stopping works
  • Lead teams to hit programme, safety, and quality standards
  • Produce RAMS, manage material orders, and track health & safety on site
  • Keep clear, accurate documentation (site diaries, RFIs, photos, certifications)

Project Management

  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, with minimal snags
  • Run weekly progress meetings with the operations and sales teams
  • Review drawings and manage any changes effectively
  • Spot new business opportunities on-site and pass them on to the team
  • Handle small remedials and awkward sequencing with a clear head

Site Leadership

  • Set expectations for labour, site rules, and working hours
  • Manage subcontractor performance and grow our network of trusted trades
  • Keep records up to date for plant and tools
  • Maintain quality from start to finish

The Person

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
  • Understanding of BM TRADA fire door installations and fire stopping requirements
  • Proven track record with fire door and fire stopping projects
  • Strong understanding of site processes, safety, and commercial targets
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident communicator with solid planning and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites
  • Proficient with Excel and project management tools

Qualifications (Required or Willing to Obtain):

  • BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Supervisor
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection or Site Supervision
  • FIRAS / IFC Awareness
  • SMSTS / SSSTS
  • CDM Awareness
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid
  • IPAF / PASMA (preferred)
