Customer Advisor
£23,660pa, LE16 7LT, 27 days + Bank Holidays + 1 day birthday, 9am-5pm M-F, Pension with great Employers contributions, Training, Permanent, Hybrid (once fully trained)

Due to continued success and department expansion plans, a head office location of a multi-branch organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Advisor to join them. You will provide advisory customer support to UK consumers via telephone, email and on-line:

  • Receiving incoming enquirers and queries from customers, providing outstanding customer service in a positive, friendly and professional manner whilst managing and resolving customer requests
  • Updating and maintaining in-house database with conversations and correspondence related to customers account, closing down accounts when required
  • Action outbound correspondence for customers via SMS, email and post when required to raise awareness
  • Obtaining and recording feedback from customers, and process this information internally
  • Support team member with workloads as and when required

We would expect the successful Customer Advisor to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, be an excellent communicator, with a real customer service focused mindset, and have a friendly, professional, confident telephone manner. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within Customer Service Administration, Contact Centre Advisor or Customer Coordinator position, from a highly regulated environment such as Insurance, Legal or Finance.

You will be joining the Market Harborough Head Office of a company that has been established for over 100 years, and have an enviable reputation in their field. Working directly with the department Team Leader, this role offers variety on a daily basis.   • Hybrid when fully training initially 5 days in Market Harborough - then after a minimum of two days a week on site (Thursday is a whole company day on site)
