- Lead and inspire a team of mortgage case managers to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service
- Oversee the end-to-end management of residential mortgage applications, including complex and specialist cases
- Ensure all cases are processed in line with policy, regulation, and service-level expectations
- Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely case progression
- Identify and implement process improvements that support operational excellence
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, encouraging continuous learning and performance growth
- Monitor team performance against KPIs and support individuals in achieving targets
- Strong experience in mortgage case management, ideally in residential or bridging and development finance but not essential.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach
- Excellent knowledge of the mortgage lifecycle, compliance standards, and FCA regulations
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to manage relationships and resolve issues effectively
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using mortgage systems and Microsoft Office tools
