Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive – Hybrid WorkingMarket Harborough, LeicestershirePermanent | Full-Time | 2 Days Remote Per WeekA well-established boutique law firm in Market Harborough is seeking a skilled Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their growing private client team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional who is passionate about private client work and wants to develop their career in a progressive and supportive environment. You’ll work alongside an experienced partner with over 18 years in the field, offering support on more complex matters while allowing you the independence to manage your own caseload.The RoleYou will handle a wide variety of private client matters and provide tailored legal advice to a loyal and diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting wills and advising on estate planning
  • Administering estates and handling probate
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
  • Advising on inheritance tax and asset protection
  • Managing trusts and related matters
You will also work closely with external professionals such as accountants, tax specialists, and financial advisers to ensure a comprehensive approach to client matters.What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years PQE in private client law (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive)
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to manage cases independently
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients is desirable
  • An interest in networking and contributing to business development
  • STEP qualification or working towards it is preferred but not essential
