The Company:Our client, a local leader within their industry are recruiting for an administrator to support their team. This role would be ideal for an individual who is keen to work part-time during term time only, and who is a personable, professional individual who is passionate about delivering the very best outcomes for clients locally, nationally, and worldwide.Role & Responsibilities of the Administrator:As an Office Administrator, you will play a key role in keeping the office running efficiently, this includes:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers, clients, and suppliers via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Welcoming visitors, managing meeting schedules, and providing refreshments as needed.
  • Maintaining office filing systems and updating databases to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for staff members.
  • Ordering office supplies, including stationery, printer refills, and staff uniforms.
  • Scheduling internal meetings and booking meeting rooms.
  • Handling general office duties such as copying, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Assisting with preparing documentation for client meetings and presentations.
  • Liaising with external bodies, consultants, and project teams to investigate and resolve queries.
  • Undertaking any additional administrative tasks as required to support the team.

About You as the Administrator:

  • We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and enjoys working with people.

  • A professional and approachable manner with a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A strong work ethic and initiative, with the ability to work without supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience in an office or administrative environment (previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage but is not essential).
  • A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a car (a mileage allowance is provided).
