HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Salary: £46,800 – £52,000
Contract: Permanent
Shifts: Monday to Friday day shift (with some Saturday mornings)

HGV Technician Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs to VOSA standards to trucks, trailers and lcvs

• Diagnose faults and complete effective rectifications

• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections

• Perform tachograph calibrations (approx. 50% of the role)

• Maintain workshop standards, equipment, and records

What we’re looking for in an HGV Technician:

• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Fitter

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) preferred

• Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair methods for HGVs

• Commitment to safe, high-quality work
