About the JobThis is a full-time, office-based role for an experienced Legal Cashier. Working closely with the in-house Accountant, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records, ensuring all transactions are managed efficiently and in line with regulatory standards.

Duties will include:•    Posting daily transactions to client and office ledgers•    Monitoring and processing online bank activity•    Reconciling bank accounts in accordance with SRA rules•    Processing and paying disbursements and staff expenses•    Managing receipts and payments•    Assisting with completion statements•    Handling supplier invoices and payments•    Managing client-to-office account transfers•    Calculating and posting client account interest•    Undertaking credit control duties•    Scanning and filing financial documents•    Supporting the team with ad-hoc finance tasks as required

About the Successful ApplicantYou will be detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills and experience using Excel and Word. Familiarity with the SRA Accounts Rules is essential, alongside a methodical approach to data entry and financial processing. Accuracy, reliability, and good communication skills are key.
