Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Systems Engineer for a 6-month contract, with a potential extension. This role is crucial for ensuring the success of various defence-related projects through meticulous systems verification, validation, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing systems verification and validation (V&V) activities
- Managing systems engineering tasks throughout the full lifecycle
- Integrating complex systems, ensuring seamless operation within the defence environment
- Conducting systems tests to ensure compliance with specifications
- Providing comprehensive support on the right-hand side of the V-Model
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives
- Maintaining detailed documentation of systems engineering activities
- Ensuring all activities align with industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in systems verification, validation, and testing
- Understanding of the systems engineering principles throughout the full lifecycle
- Expertise in integrating systems, particularly in the defence sector
- Background in electronics, networks, or electronic warfare (EW)
- Eligibility for SC clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
