Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure solutions
- Ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems
- Conducting regular system performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimisation
- Providing technical guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders
- Implementing security measures and compliance policies for IT systems
- Leading infrastructure projects from conception through to completion
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Documenting infrastructure changes and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure within the Defence & Security sector
- Strong understanding of network and server hardware, software, and virtualisation
- Proficiency in system and network administration, including backup and recovery processes
- Experience with infrastructure security and compliance best practices
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and capability to collaborate effectively
- Relevant technical qualifications in IT or a related discipline
