Job Title: Mathematics teacher (GCSE level).
Salary: MPS.
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: September 2025
Role Overview: We are seeking a passion and engagement individual for this permanent role. The ideal candidate should love calculations, formulas and problem solving, helping their students to understand the work and increasing engagement to help students to achieve or exceed their target grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment, inside and outside of the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
- Participate in school activities and events.
- Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.
- Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’s evenings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
