Family Support Worker
Location: Marlow Bottom | Long-term, Full-Time/Part-Time | Start Date: January 2026
Pay: £90–£100 per day

Job Description:
- Provide practical and emotional support to families, helping them overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure children receive the best possible support
- Offer guidance on parenting strategies, attendance, and access to community resources
- Support children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, both in and out of the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding processes in line with school policies
- Promote positive relationships between home and school, ensuring every family feels valued and included
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children, families, or in a community support role (desirable but not essential)
- Be empathetic, approachable, and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting families
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive practice
- Possess excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Be confident working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals
- Have experience in health care, social care, or family support settings (highly desirable)
