Our client based close to Marlow are looking for a hands-on and enthusiastic Junior Welder/Fabricator to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a career in welding and fabrication. You’ll be working closely with experienced professionals supporting a variety of projects in a fast-paced workshop environment.

The salary for this role is up to £27,000 dependent on experience.

Main responsibilities for the Junior Welder/Fabricator role are:

  • MIG weld and fabricate products for the construction industry, including samples and trial pieces
  • Join metal parts using appropriate welding methods and equipment
  • Set up components and prepare materials (e.g., using angle grinders) for welding
  • Assist with Press Brake operation and other workshop machinery
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and contribute to team productivity
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the workshop and equipment
  • Follow company procedures, including ISO9001, ISO14001 & EN1090-1 EXC2 standards
  • Support welding coordination and product traceability as required

Skills required for the Junior Welder/Fabricator role are:

  • Knowledge of fabrication machinery i.e. CNC Saws, Punches, Pressbrake
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Understanding and maintaining records for EN1090 Exc 2
  • Must be able to interpret fabrication drawings & weld symbols.
