Then this Kids Support Worker position could be the perfect opportunity for you! We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support to children in Carlisle and Cumbria.

Experience

Min 6 months of UK experience required working with children in mental health

Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and empathy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to de-escalate challenging situations
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
  • PMVA (Preventative Measures and Violence Awareness) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Mandatory training completion
  • Flexibility to travel within Carlisle and Cumbria
  • Commitment to working at least 36 hours per week, predominantly long day shifts (12 hours)
