A Market Leading supplier of Plant Machinery and Tools has an exciting opportunity for an Field Service Technician to join their well-established Engineering Team.

Role Description

  • Attending site breakdowns at customer sites, carrying out any fault finding, maintenance, or servicing on plant equipment
  • Service, repair and maintain a range of plant and construction machinery
  • Travel to customer sites
  • Ensure all work undertaken is compliant with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, making sure outstanding customer service is given

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a mobile plant engineer, mobile plant fitter, plant technician or plant mechanic.
  • Previous work on plant machineries such as excavators, diggers, rollers, dumpers,
  • Able to work on own and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Confident and professional manner, with strong customer-awareness
  • Effective communication skills
  • Full Driving licence (essential)
  • Ideally NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification or similar
