We're partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed SME in Derby to recruit a commercially focused Financial Controller - someone confident both in financial reporting and in driving strategic insight across the wider business.

The company operates as a diverse group of businesses with revenues around £40M.

? What they're looking for:
  • A qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a strong grounding in commercial finance, ideally from a manufacturing, engineering or product-based environment.

  • Someone who can blend financial control with strategic insight - capable of producing the numbers, but also challenging them.

  • Confident working cross-functionally with non-finance stakeholders (think ops, engineering, commercial).

  • Naturally proactive, curious, and solutions-focused - someone who thrives in fast-moving, evolving environments.

The role will be based primarily on site, certainly initially as relationships are formed etc.

Package wise, the business are offering £70,000-£75,000 per annum, plus a bonus, private medical, and 25 days holiday.
