Are you a CNC Miller or Turner looking for a more varied and diverse role, where you will be split between in the workshop and travelling to customer sites, meaning every day is different?

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity where you will be creating bespoke, one-off parts, on a range of brand-new CNC machinery?

In this role you will be split between in the workshop and on customers sites across the UK. You will be travelling with a Fabricator to assess customer's needs, then head back to the workshop to relay the brief to the design team, and finally work alongside the Fabricator to machine and produce the needed components.

You will be setting, operating, and programming both milling machines and lathes, working with aluminium and steel, producing one off parts.

Founded 20 years ago, this machining and fabrication company are specialists in their niche field, boasting a 'right first time' philosophy and continuous development for all their staff. They supply into the food processing and power industries, providing services for Blue Chip clients across the UK.

This role would suit a CNC Miller or Turner who is looking to diversify their workload in a role like no other, travelling to different sites.

The Role:

  • Machining bespoke, one-off parts using milling machines and lathes
  • Setting, operating, and programming from scratch
  • Split between workshop based (50%) and travelling to customer sites (50%)
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, 37.5 hours a week
  • £17 - £21 an hour DOE, overtime available at 1.5x Saturday, 2x on Sunday
