Description

• Oversee and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Provide expert advice on health and safety matters to project teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programmes.
• Maintain accurate records of all health and safety activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Act as the main point of contact for health and safety queries within the construction department.

Profile

A successful H&S Advisor should have:

• A recognised qualification in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction and property industries.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures effectively.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and deliver training sessions.
• A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating health and safety risks.
