We're looking for an experienced Interim HR Advisor to join a busy HR team on a fixed term contract, through an exciting time supporting a global organisation. This is a hands-on generalist role, acting as one of the key points of contact for HR queries and delivering advice in line with UK employment law and best practice.
This role is based in Derbyshire, with easy access for candidates from local areas such as Burton upon Trent, Swadlincote, Repton, Willington, Lichfield, and Uttoxeter.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a broad employee relations caseload across multiple sites
Advise line managers on performance, conduct, absence, grievances, and change management
Ensure compliance and consistent understanding of HR policies
Support recruitment and onboarding (both blue and white collar)
Maintain accurate HRIS records and HR metrics
Assist with HR projects and continuous process improvement
Support delivery of the People Strategy and coach the HR Co-ordinator
About You:
Proven HR generalist experience
CIPD qualified
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ideally experienced in blue collar industries
Available to start by October or with minimal notice
