R&D Project Engineer - Gas Burner Manufacturing
We're looking for an R&D Project Engineer based in South Normanton, Derbyshire.
In this role, you'll take ownership of design, development, and testing projects for Natural Gas, LPG, and Hydrogen burners, along with associated heating appliances in our cutting-edge test laboratory.
- Salary: 32 to 36k DOE

R&D Project Engineer Criteria
- Lead the design and development of innovative combustion solutions.
- Carry out testing and analysis to international standards.
- Engage in hands-on prototyping and light fabrication when required.
- Apply your problem-solving skills to deliver technical solutions on time.
- Liaise directly with clients, preparing reports and presentations for meetings and video conferences.
- Enjoy occasional UK and overseas travel as part of project collaboration.
R&D Project Engineer Criteria
- Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or a scientific discipline.
- Ideally, a time-served engineering apprenticeship with at least 5 year's experience.
- Knowledge or experience with domestic or light commercial gas appliances is highly advantageous.
- A hands-on, self-motivated, and proactive attitude with a passion for innovation.
