Teacher of Computer Science - Derby - September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking Secondary School just north of Derby City Centre to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in a supportive and innovative school environment.

Please note: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential for this position.

As a Computer Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Using creative teaching strategies to foster a deep understanding of computational thinking, programming, and digital literacy
Assessing and tracking student progress in line with the school's policies
Contributing to departmental planning, curriculum development, and the wider school community
Maintaining a well-managed, inclusive, and positive classroom environment

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and skilled Computer Science educator, with a strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student success. You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to be considered for this role.
