This vacancy, the result of forecasted growth will report into the head of department and will be office based for at least 3 days per week.

The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide accounting support to a portfolio of mainly healthcare businesses and professionals. You will be expected to work to scheduled time frames ensuring that accounts are prepared for review by seniors.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;Preparation of a portfolio of client`s accounts from start to finish using systems such as Xero,Communication with clients to ensure accounting information is gathered and collated appropriately,Assistance with personal tax calculations,Support your clients with accounting queries,Liaise closely with the bookkeeping team to ensure bookkeeping and the accounts tie in,

The RequirementsWe are ideally seeking a candidate who is familiar with the healthcare profession and who has worked within an accounting practice, however our client would consider applicants who have accounting practice experience in other industries. Formal qualifications are not essential however they would be preferred to applicants who are qualified by experience (we would expect candidates to be part qualified rather than fully qualified). This role would suit an individual who is locally based in Ayr/Ayrshire who is looking for a practice who genuinely look after their employees!

Our client does not hold a license to offer study support so will only consider applicants who are able to work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity.
