Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assist with personal care needs where required, including helping with feeding, dressing, and toileting, ensuring the students' comfort and dignity at all times.

Supporting Learning: Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, adapting lessons and resources to meet their individual needs.

Care Plans: Follow individual care and learning plans, ensuring students' health, safety, and development needs are met.

Therapeutic Support: Assist with sensory learning activities, providing therapeutic interventions to help children with emotional and sensory regulation.

Behavioural Support: Implement behavioural strategies as directed by teachers and specialists, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Developing Communication: Support students with communication difficulties through Makaton and other communication strategies.
